"Teachers have the right to teach

Students have a right to learn."

In order to help maintain an atmosphere in which this is possible, I (the student) will:

Respect my teachers and school, respect my classmates, and respect myself.

This means I will:

1. Be on time to class. I will be in my seat and ready to work when the tardy bell rings.

2. Come to class prepared.

• I will bring my Math book and/or workbook, my completed homework assignment, my math spiral notebook, paper, sharpened pencils, a red pen or pencil, and any questions I have. (No one is allowed back to their locker or homeroom.)

3. Pay attention, listen carefully and ask questions (by raising my hand) when something is not clear to me.

4. Listen respectfully to all questions that are asked.

5. Do my best to avoid any distracting or disruptive behavior which includes talking to others in the class.

6. Ask for help when I need it.

7. Always show my work, and always check my work.

8. Work hard and try to do my very best on all homework assignments, projects, quizzes, and tests.

Do your best at you attempt. Trust me, that is one thing that you will never regret!
